Invitation to study
An official invitation to study can be obtained online.
An electronic invitation to study (internship) is an electronic document containing a certain list of data
- name of the educational institution
- specialty
- form of education
- the expiration date of the electronic invitation, etc.
An electronic invitation is signed by an authorized representative of a vocational (vocational-technical), professional pre-university, or higher education institution with a qualified electronic signature or seal.
If you want to have a hard copy of the invitation, you can print it out.
The electronic invitation is valid for six months. You need it to apply for a visa and enter Ukraine.
Information about the registered electronic invitation is transferred via the Unified System to the visa information and communication system for further use by foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, etc.
How to get a visa?
To obtain an entry visa to study in Ukraine, you must:
- apply to the Embassy of Ukraine in your home or neighbouring country for an entry visa to study in Ukraine;
- scanned copy of the document on education with grades
It takes about 1 month to obtain an entry visa, so you should send the documents listed in the section “How to get an invitation to study” no later than 2 months before the start of classes.
After receiving a D visa for study, you must inform the Centre for International Education by e-mail (admission@kpi.ua ) or by phone (+38 (044) 204-86-59; +38 (044) 204-92-52) of your arrival date in Kyiv and voyage number.
