On November 30 and December 24, 2021, the teachers of the Mianyang Preparatory Center (Preparatory Center for the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”), gave two promotional lectures in the Sichuan region about KPI. In the school's multifunctional meeting room, more than 400 high school students gathered to listen to the detailed information brought by Mianyang Preparatory Center.

Deputy Director of the Center for International Education of the Igor Sikorsky KPI Vitalii Ovechkin had a foreword in which he gave brief presentation about Igor Sikorsky KPI, cooperation of the university with Chinese universities and partners and invited all students to study in KPI. Mr. Tang and Mr. Li of the Mianyang Preparatory Center represented Ukraine’s national conditions, technological development, the friendly relationship between Ukraine and China, and the long history of the Igor Sikorsky KPI’s outstanding academic ability and graduate employment.

Especially during the epidemic, starting from the perspective of students' epidemic prevention and safety, the preparatory center courses were arranged so that students can obtain knowledge, ensure safety, connect with Europe and find employment. Students and teachers who participated in the conference spoke highly of the presentation and received a deep impression about the Igor Sikorsky KPI. After the presentation, more than 40 students’ registration forms with complete information were received, and they will be arranged to participate in a language proficiency assessment. Other 110 students filled out the questionnaire and expressed "willing to study at KPI".

The Mianyang Preparatory Center will continue to carry out follow-up publicity activities in Sichuan Province, China, in accordance with the requirements of the Chinese government's epidemic prevention work. The epidemic has made the journey of international students more rugged, but through the Mianyang Preparatory Center’s in-student publicity activities, the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” opened its doors to all students in the post-epidemic period, helping scholars move toward prestigious European universities and explore future technology.

We hope in 2022, we will meet at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” to realize Chinese students’ dreams!
