Admission to the Preparatory Department
Admission to the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens (PD) is subject to the following conditions:
complete secondary education;
an invitation from the university to study.
The educational process under the PD study programmes is conducted in Ukrainian or English. The deadline for submitting original documents for studying at the PD is from 1 July to 1 December 2024. The beginning of the study programme: from 1 September, according to the fullness of the groups.
The list of documents that applicants personally submit to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in paper form:
application;
original and copy of a legalised document on complete secondary education;
the original and a copy of a legalised document (appendix to the document on education) containing information on academic performance in academic disciplines;
a copy of the passport (scan or photo);
medical certificate of health;
four photographs 3.5x4.5 cm in size, colour, matte;
passport (to be presented in person).
Before applying for a D visa to study in Ukraine, you need to legalise your educational documents as described in paragraphs 2 and 3:
Legalise your educational documents at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your home country (or have them apostilled at the Ministry of Education of your home country).
Legalise your educational documents at the Ukrainian Embassy in your home country.
The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2, 3, 4 must be translated into Ukrainian upon arrival in Ukraine with a notarised translation in duplicate (2 copies).
For online admission to the PD, you must send scanned copies of the following documents to admission@kpi.ua:
application;
a copy of a legalised document on complete secondary education;
a copy of a legalised document (appendix to the document on education) containing information on academic performance in academic disciplines;
a copy of the passport (scan or photo);
colour photograph of 3.5x4.5 cm in size (requirements as for a passport document;
translation of the above documents into Ukrainian with notarisation of the translation.
The documents referred to in paragraphs 2 and 3 must first be legalised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country that issued them (or apostilled by the Ministry of Education of the country that issued the educational documents). After legalisation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, you must also legalise your educational documents at the Ukrainian embassy in your home country
The documents specified in subparagraphs 2, 3, 4 must be translated into Ukrainian with a notarised translation and sent to admission@kpi.ua
Before starting the study, the PD student signs a Standard Agreement on the provision of educational services to foreign students with the university Model agreement on the provision of educational services to students of foreign citizens
