Education

Educational activity in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is based on the following principles:

The purpose of the University’s educational activity is to train highly qualified and competitive specialists (capable of creating modern scientific knowledge and innovative technologies for the benefit of mankind) at all levels of higher education for enterprises of all forms of ownership, scientific and educational institutions, public authorities and governments, creating conditions for the realization of personal potential and the development of creative abilities.

Obtaining higher education at each level involves the successful completion of a person’s relevant educational (educational and professional, educational and scientific) or scientific program, which is the basis for awarding the relevant degree of higher education:

• Bachelor (4 years)
• Master’s degree (1.4 or 1.9 years)
• Doctor of Philosophy (4 years)
• Doctor of Science (2 years)

Foreign students can study in the state language or in the languages of the European Union. Foreigners study at the university:

• in Ukrainian – at all faculties and Educational and Research Institute;
• in English – at all faculties, but in certain educational programs (specialties).
