Preparatory Department

If your chosen faculty teaches in Ukrainian or English, and your knowledge of these languages is insufficient, you can take a preparatory course in a year. The preparatory department for foreign citizens will help you master both the language for communication and the fundamental disciplines necessary for university admission: mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, geography, and history of Ukraine.

Classes at the preparatory department can begin in any month of the academic year as groups of 15 people are formed; the duration of study is 10 months.

Classes usually begin on September 1 as academic groups fill up.
After successfully completing the preparatory department, you will receive a state-certified certificate that entitles you to enroll in both Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and any higher education institution in Ukraine.
